“Go to Brooklyn Heights, get an image of the city from there”. Jack Lindsay at Bloomingdales made a list of locations for a portfolio for the Fall ’68 storewide promotion. Out of over fifteen drawings, ten were selected and blown up to sizes of 8 x 12 feet and wallpapered on mounting boards. On the day of the opening, I climbed up on scaffolding and colored in washes of Doc Martin tints.
